I saw the strangest thing waiting in the '12 items of less' line at our local Coles last night.
All around me, people were buying the exact same things: one packet of spaghetti, a small tray of beef mince, two onions and a brown-paper bag full of mushrooms. Variations on the theme consisted of: one or two tins of crushed/whole/puree tomato, one tub of pre-made pasta sauce, a carrot and/or a capsicum. I kid you not, there must have been at least 5 people around me with variations on this same.
Monday night, I christen thee: Spaghetti Night.
