I just discovered that a café around the corner from the office makes their coffee with a regular big-ass coffee machine (nothing strange there) – however instead of using freshly ground coffee, they’re using standard retail-issue Illy coffee pods. I’ve never come across this.. We use the same coffee pods at home with our machine. I’d never have dreamt that a café would actually make and sell pod coffee. I think I’ll have to actually buy a coffee from them to try it out.
