Like a Tigerrr..
Excited would be a gross understatement.
Some interesting tidbits:
- It ships on DVD. If your (old) Mac does not have a DVD drive, you'll need to order CDs via the 'Media Exchange Program'. Strangely this is not mentioned on the system requirements page
- Buried within the Tiger preview site, there's a nice comparison table between Tiger, Panther and Jaguar
- Whilst a large number of older Macs are supported - most of the Tiger goodies require Quartz Extreme which in turn requires a relatively new graphics card. Again, there's no mention of this on the Tiger system requirements page, although it was the same for Panther
