Aussie Mark Webber stepped up onto the podium at Monaco last night to collect a fine career-best third place. Webber started the race, his 56th F1 start, on the second row of the grid only to - again - lose a couple of places off the line.
“The start was a joke, it was very frustrating that I didn’t get away at all, the clutch didn’t really work at all, so that was a shame…”
Mark then lost out badly to teammate Nick Heidfeld at the second pitstop, dropping a sure second place.
In his shoes, I’d be pretty pissed too, although I’m sure he’ll get up onto the top step very soon.
