Motorclassica 2015

Great to see Motorclassica continue to thrive. Tonnes of manufacturer support this year, with stands from Mercedes-Benz, BMW, Porsche, Jaguar, Alfa-Romeo, Maserati, Citroen, Ferrari… Without a stable motorshow in Australia, Motorclassica seems to hit a sweet spot for showcasing these historic marques to their most enthusiastic followers and customers.
Special mention to BMW for having two concepts on display: their 3.0 CSL Hommage concept and M4 GTS concept; Mercedes-Maybach for showcasing their new S600; and Porsche for bringing a 991 GT3 RS to the show.

Proper period BMW Australia one-of-two special models commissioned to celebrate BMW’s 1985 ATCC championship.

Because who doesn’t like a rotary bike. Loud pipes save lives!

Can’t ever get enough of this car. There’s only one McLaren F1 in Australia and it’s been here since new.

Looking forward to seeing far more F40’s on the road in Oz now they’re old enough to be registered in LHD.

Love this thing, utterly perfect.

Great to see this 959 road-registered, has been spotted a few times on the road in and around Melbourne. Like the F40, now old enough to be registered in LHD.

The CSL concept almost looks ok wearing the BMW Motorsport livery. Those kidney grills though 😳

Would love to run one of these. Great to see this car around the traps in Melbourne. RHD conversion completed by BMW UK apparently.

I liked this thing far more than I thought I would. Those OLED tails have to be seen to be believed, can’t wait to see more applications of these. This car was in town for the MotoGP and Motorclassica before it is whisked off to the Tokyo Motor Show next week.

Just me or would this look a million times better with just a little patina? Looked factory fresh.

Really liked this. Spent far too much time in and around it. Hmmmm.

Deus x BMW Motorrad collab, brilliant little bike. More info… Even more…

This thing! Ultimate cruiser.

Big soft spot for Bristols and Zagatos, so this thing is perfect.
